The project originates from a real estate operation which involved the conversion of a industrial building into apartments. The architectural design and administrative process, both coordinated by Studio DC10, occurred in parallel phases. The existing building, a warehouse with a barrel roof, has been partially demolished in the south side to make room for small private patios and the gross floor area recovered has been transferred to the two levels that now make up the new residential building. This intervention, together with the use of double heights and vertical and horizontal glazed partitions, has allowed the entry of light to be maximized in all interior spaces and create an effect of interpenetration of spaces.
